In three rooms Tamara Grcic stages an interrogative-analytical field of tension between the themes of intimacy, distance, strength and vulnerability. At the center of her interest is the human being and his ambivalent longing for closeness. However, Tamara Grcic does not show the human being from the perspective of concrete individuality, but thematizes in her works an atmospheric basic vibration in a complex and ambiguous system of fragments and fractures.
Tamara Grcic (*1964, Munich/DE) lives and works in Vienna and Frankfurt am Main.
