Peter Kamm

Peter Kamm is first and foremost a sculptor. This is evident in the drawings he is showing at the Kunsthalle St. Gallen. They are less signs than monumental, corporeal structures thrown onto paper or onto the large walls. They express the power of the earthy, of the material, rather than the spirituality of drawing. These works can be flattered with Schöngeist, but this is not the way to approach them.

Peter Kamm (*1958 Aarau/CH) is a Swiss stone sculptor and draftsman.
